“LEGACY PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM”

 

THE GOAL:

The Little Lighthouse came to us with a robust and successful marketing program, delivering personalized communications with frequency and consistency! So how do you improve an already successful fundraising program? 

Through our Legacy Partnership program, The Little Lighthouse (TLL) hoped to launch an endowment and begin to share the purpose and importance of legacy gifts with their donors. TAG became TLL Legacy Office and helped the organization to cast a wider net and start educating donors on the value of planned giving. In 2012, the organization created its own Legacy program called Path Lighter’s Society! 

THE RESULTS: 

For eight years, The Advancement Group has served in the role of The Little Lighthouse’s Legacy office, it has raised over 7 million dollars. Also, hundreds of Light House families have been able to establish special needs trusts (SNT) for their children.

“I believe the results were well beyond what was expected when we joined the program,” said Molly Smith, Director of Development. “ Our community was very supportive and responsive to planned giving, and we were able to build our Legacy Society quickly and steadily! Knowing that we have gifts to our endowment down the line is a wonderful relief, and something we hope to continue to grow. ”
